style: ‘I try to reduce the reasoning aspect of my paintings as
much as possible. I let intuition guild the way I paint. I do not
begin with sketches but allow one painting episode to lead me to the
next. I enjoy creating ambiguity in my work. Ambiguity provokes and
puzzles and therefore creates interaction with the viewer. What is
explicit cannot hold my attention for long. Sometimes I stumble upon
something quite magical. Painting is my journey to seek the
magical.’ |
